BETH SKILLICORN OUT LOUD TO MYSELF

Out Loud To Myself is my latest project. It is a book of narrative art, of theosophical allegory, an artistic manifesto, where theories are presented in the form of a dinner served up on a red café tablecloth. The book consists of thirty-nine tableaus, each advancing a narrative, each a component to myth. Each image is sequentially numbered as a “Tableau. Setting” (a table setting). I introduce and serve concepts, serving thought for food.

 

The main purpose of this book is to be suggestive. I offer a paradigm for dinner.
