BETH SKILLICORN OUT LOUD TO MYSELF

 

Beth Skillicorn is a self-taught fine artist, writer and designer, creating works of expressionistic art; seriousness and wry humor pervade her style. She has developed many of her own techniques, from bas-relief carved paper to plaster frescos, from charcoal and ink drawings on distressed surfaces to acrylic panels carved and fired.

Her many works of conceptual art are aggregated within her newest project, titled Out Loud To Myself. It is a pictorial narrative that incorporates the glyphic language and symbology she’s created over the years, and expands on her visual sense of philosophical thought.
